find a form where you can submit your question. We will answer
it as soon as we get it.
How often does your paper comes
out? Every Friday. Most of it is
distributed on Friday and a few places get it on Saturday.
When should I send my ad? Our deadline is every
Tuesday by 3:00 PM for our Michigan edition and Friday
by 3:00 PM for our Ohio edition.
How long have you been in
business? We started Lazo Cultural in 2001,
but we have been in media since 1991
Should my ad be in English? It depends. If you want to
reach bilingual readers you can place it en English, some
employment ads are in English since they are looking for
bilingual workers. Most of our ads are in Spanish since our
readers prefer to get their news and ads in their own
language.
Do you have any discount if i
place more than 1 ad? Yes, we have frequency
discounts but they are applied when you place 5 or more ads.
Is there any extra charge to
have my ad on your website? No. All the ads will be in our
digital editions just the way they appeared in the paper.
There is no extra charge for that.
Can you handle inserts? No. we could and we've done it but
we found out that the readers will pick up the paper and
then leave the inserts in the place where they picked up the
paper, that upsets the business owners that allow us to have
our publication in their places because it generates trash
for them.
How many copies do you print? We print 5,000 copies every Friday. In months that have
5 Fridays we print 25,000 copies. Plus the first week of
each month we join with our sister publication La Prensa in
Ohio and print 12,000 additional copies.
I can't write in Spanish can
you help me with my ad? Yes, we sure can, just e-mail us
the copy text of your ad and we will write it in Spanish for
you, then we will e-mail you the text back so you can place
it in your layout program. Or if you want we can also create
a design for your ad based on the text you send us.
